Virtual Hairstyling - Popularity Today

Virtual hairstyling has fast become one of the hottest salon and online products today.

Why?
You can see how a hairstyle looks on you before you go to the salon. And that's way too cool!

Before virtual hairstyling the only way to do this was to try to re-create the style yourself or go to a salon, pay money, and hope for the best.

And if it didn't turn out the way you hoped, what would you do? Tell your stylist...

"I know you spent a lot of time on this, but It doesn't look as good on me as I thought it would. Can you wet it down and start over again?"

Trust me when I tell you, should you try this approach, I guarentee you're not going to like any hairstyle she creates on you! Even if the new choice, (under different circumstances), would have looked awesome.

Or, would you schedule a daily appointment until you found just the right style?

Maybe if you were retired and had nothing better to do and you're rich.

What about changing the color of your hair?

This is often a scary step for even the most adventerous person. I mean, we're talking about a chemical process that can't be changed with a snap of the fingers.

Or deciding on a new haircut? Whoa... now that's scary. I mean, hair does grown back but at a snails pace!

"Going virtual" allows you to decide what cut you'll love without 1 single strand of hair taken from your head.

Do you wear glasses or have a unique feature?

Virtual Hairstyling works with whatever it is that may change the way a hairstyle looks on you by allowing you to "view before you do".

All of the reasons (and more) are why I'm so excited about Virtual HairStyling. It can save so much time, money and disappointment in the long run.

There's absolutely no reason NOT to use it!

(I'm telling you, who ever came up with the virtual hairstyling concept was brilliant! I mean, imagine always loving your hair when you leave the salon or your house!)

Following are the top 3 virtual hairstyling software programs of over 6000 hair styles to choose, from short to long, mens, childrens, weddings and prom it’s in here.

They are all unique in there own way from offering "niche" services to pricing (in which, may I add, memberships are extremely reasonably priced!)

Can you put a price on how you look and feel?

Hair Care Tips

  • Always choose a shampoo that will benefit your hair type.
Oily hair can be washed most days using a mild shampoo, remember your hair is never really dirty, so a little shampoo once is all that’s needed, also if you have dry ends from colour treatments a small amount of conditioner helps to smoothen the hair shaft.
  • Dry hair can be washed less frequently, so as to help the natural oils come back into your hair. Surface conditioners that help to smoothen the cuticles on the hair shaft can be used, and these can be used at every wash.
Hair conditioning treatments are more intensive and should be used once a month when you have some free time as these are left in longer and penetrate deeper into the hair.
  • If you have hair that gets tangled easily apply conditioner and comb through before rinsing. Afterwards, pat dry and comb through from the bottom up.
  • Conditioners or treatments cannot cure dry or split ends so a good trim is necessary.
  • Hair grows approximately half an inch a month so one inch cut off is one month of growth.
  • Excessive use of gels, mousse, waxes and hairsprays can cause a build-up on the hair shaft so a shampoo that removes this should be used at least once a month.
  • Your hair tones, for example, tinting or highlighting should vary with the seasons.
In summer time colour changes can be brighter, so when the winter comes you can tone your hair down a few shades.
  • Hairbrushes that have melted or damaged teeth cause split ends.

Brushing Up On Dandruff Facts
Dandruff is a persistent scalp condition in which dead skin cells on the head shed excessively, looking like small, white flakes. Stress, illness, hormonal fluctuations can contribute to the development and worsening of dandruff.

Medicated dandruff shampoos are widely available which help to remove the dead cells. I would recommend you brush your scalp first to loosen any flakes or dead skin.

Hairstyle Tools and Tips

Despite the importance of hairstyles in aiding in the external definition of ourselves, an alarming number of people report having hairstyles they are less than happy with.

Why is it then that so many people are less than happy with their current style?

For the majority of people it is not lack of trying. Individuals pump literally billions of dollars a year into the salon industry in their elusive quest for that holiest of grails — a hairstyle that complements them, is fashionable, and that they are happy with. In the United States alone, the salon industry is a $45 billion industry. For the majority of us, having our 4-6 weekly cuts and colours in medium priced salons, the annual salon bill is somewhere between $750 and $2000.

Clearly, this is a lot of money to be parting with on an annual basis to be less than happy with the results. While there are no hard and fast formulas to finding your perfect hairstyle, there are some basic questions that you should ask yourself, and some basic rules of thumb that you should follow.

Analyze this
The first step to finding a style that is right for you is to answer these basic questions. Even if you have never received a hairstyle that you hate, chances are that you will have received a hair cut that you are unable to reproduce at home.

How much time do you have to spend on your hair on a daily basis?
Be honest about this one! There is no point having a stylist give you a hair cut that requires you to spend 45 minutes each morning achieving the desired look if you do not have the time. This question boils down to your lifestyle and you need to consider it carefully before choosing a hairstyle.

How much money do you wish to spend maintaining your hairstyle?
Some high maintenance hairstyles will not only require you to spend large amounts of time styling your own hair, they may also require frequent salon visits. Before you decide on a certain hairstyle, you should calculate the cost of maintaining that style and check whether you can sustain that expenditure.

Do you have the necessary equipment to maintain the style?
Connected to he cost of maintaining a hairstyle, is the question of whether or not you have the necessary equipment. Some hairstyles have to be blow-dried, while others require you to use curling irons, hot-sticks, heated rollers, crimpers, or straightening irons. If you do not already own the pieces of equipment required for the hairstyle, are you in a financial position to simply go out and purchase this equipment? If you do not already own the equipment and cannot simply purchase the equipment, then you need to avoid styles that demand that equipment.

Now that you have settled on a hairstyle that is right for your lifestyle and your finances, the next step is to check that it will suit you. The most important issue is whether a given hairstyle will compliment your face shape.

Just as your clothes can flatter the parts of your bodies you like, and minimize the parts you don't like, the cut and style of your hair can bring a sense of proportion and balance to your face. Deciding on a new hairstyle can seem like a hit-and-miss affair — one style might drag your face down and make you look ill, another might make your face look fuller, while others yet may just not suit you for some reason that you can't quite put your finger on.

A hairstyle may look good on one person but terrible on another, because not everyone has the same shaped face. Your face shape most directly influences which hairstyles you are able to wear well — much more than the color or texture of your hair. While products and techniques exist to modify these other factors, you cannot change your face shape. Learning about your face shape, and knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your face shape will allow you choose a hairstyle that creates a sense of proportion, balance and harmony between the style and your face.
